Child Support

The ability to obtain regular child support payments will greatly affect your ability to maintain the well being of children and yourself. We have experience representing both sides in the successful resolution of child support issues.

In California, child support is calculated by a computer program that takes many factors into consideration including:

-both parents’ reported income
-the tax filing status of both parents
-preexisting financial obligations of both parents
-visitation time of each parent

There are many other consideration taken into account. We seek mutually agreeable child support settlements, when possible to serve the best interests of our clients and their children. In addition, we negotiate for additional support to cover additional expenses including health insurance, childcare, extracurricular activities, etc.
