The area of the Law described as Family Law is very diverse with wide ranging legal issues and implications. Child Support-the financial obligation of one parent to the other to contribute to the support of the child. Spousal Support-the legal obligation of one spouse to pay for the maintenance and well-being of the other spouse. Child Custody-the legal and physical custody of a child and how visitation is to be determined. Domestic Partnership-legal status of two adults who have chosen to share each others lives in an intimate and caring relationship. |
